Beach Street Dog Grooming was established in 2006. With the help and support of Joey's family and friends, Joey went forth to make her dreams come true! Her aspirations grew stronger as her boyfriend moved from California to help and support her goals, just a few days later they married. Joey has continued to keep her family involved in her business.

We have taken the time to make a few changes on our site which will be restored!

Dog Groomers/ Owners do the same or similar things; many of us do share the same morals, ethics and ideas. We have recently looked through other websites throughout the country and we have all laughed, we have found well over a dozen sites that have the exact same intro, FAQ's, and a similar about us sections. This is not plagiarism! In order to plagiarize the work in question must be published through a publishing company, not just written on a web site! Furthermore FAQ's, introductions, etc. are not protected by U.S. copyright laws. We all have taken time to call some of Joey's friend'sback home in Californiawho are groomers and have asked several of questions in our FAQ, they answered them the exact same way that they have been answered on our FAQ'. Now in the grooming industry, as well as any other industry, there are many questions that arise over and over again.  These questions are always about your methods of doing something pertaining to your particular business.  In the grooming business there are a million procedures that are done the same throughout the country, there is only one way of plucking hair out of a dog' ear and that is plucking the hair out of a dog' ear.  One cannot copyright that procedure, if that were the case we would all be rich right now and never have a day outside of court because we all speak, write and use the same language!

We have also taken the time to read and understand copyright laws including the Digital Millennium Act of 1998 for websites and spoke to our family lawyer about this.  Copyright laws only apply to Original works of authorship, from which they can be perceived, reproduced, or otherwise communicated, either directly or with the aid of a machine or device. This includes: Literary, musical, dramatic, pantomimes, choreographic, pictorial, graphic, sculptural, motion pictures, and other forms of audiovisual works, sounds and last but not least architectural works that are published through major or minor publishing companies respectively.

This means that in no case does U.S. copyright laws protect for an original work of authorship extend to any IDEA, SYSTEM, METHOD OF OPERATION, CONCEPTS, PROCESS, PROCEDURE and PRINCIPLES

Now only because we have all found other websites, spoken to other groomers and share same ideas, ethics, morals, and many of the same FAQ's etc. This does not imply they do not have a mind of their own or don' have the confidence to describe themselves.

Seriously who are you trying to fool? We are DOG GROOMERS 8 of 10 groomers share the same ideas, morals, ethics, concepts, systems of operations. This does not mean we are going to slander or libel your name for it which will then be truly breaking the law. We will appreciate your work and know that there is one more groomer out there that does care!
